Awesome list Nate! I know a guy in Africa that guides adventurous safaris for people our age (a lot of preplanned ones are set for old people).
Can’t wait to hear how these pan out!
Bitchin’! Every time I see a new one of these, I just can’t wait to finish up my own (I have a start, but not nearly enough on the list yet).
I love the idea of a cheeseburger in every state. I might have to steal that (or a version of it). Definitely want to road trip across the US at some point.
Now, I will start working on one. I will try to have 30-50 things. Thank you for the prompt.
Heya Nate!
Awesome, I love the one about flipping a coin about a big decision.
“should I move to asia?”…lets flip a coin. lol!
Have an awesome weekend bud!
Cheers!
Kristin – The safari is one that I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid. I may be asking you more about this guy you know. Thanks!
Colin – I thought of that cheeseburger in every state idea just a few weeks ago. I told my girlfriend and she thinks I’m really weird, but hey, that’s me! I’ll tell her that you think it’s a good idea.
Gordie – Go for it, man!
Diggy – There’s nothing that shows leaving it up to fate more than flipping a coin haha.
Nice. Only 22? Would have expected a longer list :-)
Andy – I know, could be a little longer, but I figure that these will keep me busy for a while. There will certainly be some things added to it in the future!
Great list….
I think you may enjoy my post Tuesday. It will help with #12 and then some…

Great list…except No. 17. Unless you’re a superhero, that’s not humanly possible…and then maybe not even if you ARE a superhero! ;-)
Scott, I’m crossing this one off buddy. Completed on November 6th. I’ll just consider myself a superhero now :-) By the way, thanks for the reminder to cross it off! I had completely forgotten.
Nate-
I love the Kiva.org one (I have a similar goal). What’s holding you back from crossing that off? it’s only $25. I’m sure you can swing that =)
@ joel – I sure could! I should have been more clear about this goal, and I’ve now changed it. I want to hit the point where I’ve loaned over $500 on Kiva.
“Make a big decision by flipping a coin.” – Holy shit Nate, I’m stealing that. Hope you don’t mind. :)
@ karol – I don’t mind at all! That’s great. I’m really looking forward to the day that I will cross that one off. Should be an adventure!
Just found this. Awesome list, lots of variety. I even stole a few for my (yet unpublished) list. Keep at it! :)
(but I’m askeered to make a decision by flipping a coin)
@ brooke – Feel free to steal them :-) That makes me happy. And to be honest, I’m scared of that one as well! Scared is good though in my book. Let me know when your list is done I’d love to check it out.
Great list! Number 29 – eat durian. Who is durian and do you have their permission to eat them?
Seriously though – I like the variety of this list.
Dom (in London UK)
@ dom – Haha! It’s actually a fruit, that supposedly tastes ok (depending on who you ask) but smells similar to dirty socks. It’s actually illegal to have in some cities!
Excellent list, Nate! I’m particularly a fan of #4 . . . make a big decision by flipping a coin. How empowering it would be to be in a position to do that. Funny that I should read this this morning, as I’m amidst a Twitter conversation about “living by the coin” being the basis for a blog experiment!
(P.S. Sean Ogle inspired my list, as well: http://www.powerspercussion.com/my-list)
@ mark – Thanks, man! That seems to be a popular one. The exciting thing is that I actually have an idea for when I may use this. Details coming soon if I decide to do it. Checked out your list and site, rock on!
several weeks ago I wondered if I should make some sort of life to do list. you’ve totally inspired me, to go and write one now. Love the cheeseburger idea, though for me it would be in every european country or something like it :)
@ tessa – Sweet! Let me know when your list is done so I can take a look!
I love bucket lists!
Tubing on the lake is awesome! Where I come from it’s pretty much a requirement that you do that in the summer at least once. Hope you can kick your fear of deep water in the face and try it!
@ adam – Thanks man! That one is pretty scary to me but I’m looking forward to completing it. I think it’s one of those things that once I do it one time I’ll want to again.
Okay, I know you are 22 years old…but mom doesn’t like #27, #30 and #35.
